TAI CHI is an ancient healing art that combines martial arts movements with chi (energy) circulation, breathing and stretching. It is based on well-established Chinese yin yang and five elements theories. Training in Tai Chi includes the integration of mind, chi and body.


 

 


YOGA is moving meditation. It is a time for relaxation and contemplation. Through various exercises and asanas (postures), yoga provides a way to release unwanted tensions and burdens carried with you in your body. Ultimately, it is one of the paths to self-discovery.

 


TAEKWON-DO is a Korean martial art of unarmed self-defense. Our TaeKwon-Do classes will teach you the skilled application of techniques including punches, kicks, blocks, dodges and interception with bare arms, hands and legs to swiftly overcome an opponent. Emphasis will be placed on flexibility, speed and correct breathing techniques. Traditional TaeKwon-Do is more than self-defense. It also aims to instill correct values and ethics including courtesy, integrity, perseverance and self-control.

HAPKI-DO (Aikido in Japanese) is one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world originating from Korea. HapKi-Do can be translated as the Way of Harmony with the Universal Ki. The essence of HapKi-Do is to unify the mind and body. The movements are based on going with the flow, moving in circles or spirals, following the natural paths of Ki. In HapKi-Do you do not resist the opponent but instead harness the opponent's energy to overcome aggression.

 


MOVEMENT is something you are rather than something you do. Movement classes teach you to become aware of your own body and generally improve your ease and versatility of movement. Movement is about self-expression. Discovering how you feel released and totally free to be your true self. At the movement classes, you will experiment with your natural rhythms, move and stretch. Experiment movement with percussion, dance and do voice improvisations.

BOXERCISE is a unique exercise programme that combines the skill of boxing movement with the challenge of dance and aerobic exercise. The class introduces techniques such as skipping, free-style boxing, circuit work and dance-related exercises for the ultimate body workout.
